You can say that again. Charlton were through three times one on one with Randolph and fucked it up each time. Randolph looked shocking on crosses. Payet laid on a few for the others to cock up their finishing.
What Arsenal will do to us is rather worrying.

No one was shouting Bilic Out, he was given joke boos when he didn't wave. His name was sung several times in fact.

This thread reads like some sort of angry denialist gay chat line.

All I'll say is the valley is great for a drink while watching half
of the game, and the anchor and hope is a great pub

Wasn't there, but I'm getting loads of grief from Chelsea mates as there's a Facebook message for alleged West Ham saying people we shouting Bilic out!

I'll assume there's no truth it it as I've seen fuck all else.

Dicksie, do we even know what our strongest XI is yet? As they have not had a lot of game time to know each other's game and jel etc

There was a tannoy announcement saying there were refreshments available both ends of the stand but many of the people in attendance seemed prime candidates for the Darwin awards.

Penners

They put the shutters down on the bar just as loads of people were queuing up. Some were holding it up and giving the staff some stick. The Old Bill came and it was sorted quickly.

Luckily I had got my beers before this point.

Re: Charlton Athletic Away...
I don't expect us to beat a very strong Arsenal squad away in August. I think they will challenge for the league this year.

But I would have liked us to have signed a forward and put some semblance of a first team out by now. I'd like to be able to watch a side that the new manager thinks is close to our best XI and be able to understand what he is trying to do. At the moment it looks like it could be Seotember at least before we will start seeing a Bilic team and plan taking shape.

It's understandable in some ways, what with Europe, suspensions, injuries and the crazy way that the window overlaps the start of the season. But it would be nice to see and understand a cohesive team this week, really.

Just seen the highlights, we didn't look great defensively but it was only highlights.

Yeah, after any other pre-season I'd be expecting us to beat Arsenal away in the first game, not this season though.

Fucking minges.

Re: Charlton Athletic Away...
We've not even played our strongest XI altogether yet and we're still looking to sign new players - including a forward, no doubt...

So quit the camp knicker-wetting...
